Northeastern University
eurOptimum was tasked with providing a pivoting partition system in Northeastern University's satellite Toronto campus. The partition had to be designed to offer privacy to users when needed, while providing acoustic sound-dampening properties for the open space.
eurOptimum developed a custom mechanism that allowed for rotating the panels at fixed degrees. The panels were comprised of wool felt inserts framed in a double-sided powder-coated aluminum frame. The pigment for the powder-coat was custom matched to the Italian plastic laminate used throughout the space.
